Nota: Los domingos el acceso a las zonas arqueológicas es gratuito para visitantes nacionales, previa indentificación. De lunes a sábado se aplican descuentos para estudiantes y maestros con credencial vigente, personas de la tercera edad con credencial del INAPAM (antes INSEN) tienen acceso gratuito.

Pre-hispanic city that was developed around the year 1000 d.C. Among the still conserved architectonic sets, El Palacio stands out.

It has a wide variety of attractions: a hacienda that has bloomed for years thanks to the care of its owners , old legends surrounding it , aged fiber-removing machines where the “green gold” (henequén or sisal) is still processed, “sacbes” (Mayan path) and a cavern type cenote.

It is located 32 km from the city of Merida, on highway number 80 to Tixkokob; exit to the right in km 25. The days of visit are Monday to Sunday from 8:00 to 17:00 hours.
